Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)

If you want federal funds to help with your highway, transit, or airport projects, you’ll need a DBE program. Projects funded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are also subject to DBE rules. The DBE program requires most funding recipients (grantees) to have a DBE goal, DBE program plan, and submit reports to the funding agency. EK can help your agency meet all DBE requirements.

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI)

Racial discrimination is prohibited on federally funded projects, and you may even need a formal Title VI program to be eligible for certain funds. EK can advise you on Title VI requirements.

Build America / Buy America (BABA)
